MEMBERSHIP
In Lanarkshire there are many fine courses, but few will stand up to the quality and year round playability of Carnwath. Home to not only a beautifully kept golf course, our relaxed atmosphere and friendly Members make the Club environment welcoming to all.

We offer a number of membership options to suit our diverse golfing community. Each golf membership offers you year round access to the course, including the ability to play in all applicable competitions in our extensive fixture list which now include medals or competitions every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the season. ​
You can test your own strengths across 3 handicap divisions with a healthy field of over 150 players contesting an average Saturday competition. Players with more modest ambitions simply enjoy their golf at Carnwath with family, friends, colleagues or clients on a golf course designed to provide a fair test of golf at every level.
BEING A MEMBER OF CARNWATH
Member's of Carnwath Golf Club enjoy many benefits, not least some of the best value golf in the Lanarkshire area. From proudly displaying beautiful engraved metal bag tags to adorning modern Carnwath embroidered Glenmuir merchandise, we want everyone to feel part of their Club.
All members receive a 'Member's Handbook' for the upcoming season upon payment of membership fees. This handy guide includes all the information you'll need including contact details, fixture lists and more.

Members can book tee times and view the Club's diary any time they please via our online booking portal.
You can access the booking portal by clicking the membership card.
Our competition information, handicap lists, and individual statistics are powered by Club Systems and HowDidIDo. Members can access this information by clicking on the bag tag and logging into HowDidIDo.

WHY BE A MEMBER OF CARNWATH?
Unlimited Access to your Course – being a Member gives you the opportunity to play Carnwath whenever, and generally as often, as you like at the times that suit you; our introduction of online booking makes it easier than ever.
Play Competitive Golf – only by being a member of Carnwath can allow you to play our regular official Club competitions. Our medal competitions have been more healthily attended than ever in recent years and with many new events included in our fixture list, there's no better time to play competitive golf. We even offer medals every Sunday!
Matchplay Golf – experience the thrill of Matchplay golf with our extensive choice of singles, doubles and mixed knock-out competitions including the 'Clark Cup', one of the oldest in the Club's trophy cabinet, and the 'Family Foursomes', a great friendly experience of Matchplay golf.
A Great Clubhouse Environment – We're looking to make your Clubhouse even better, continuing to refurbish and improve certain areas - being a Member means you can enjoy it even more.
Use of the Practice Facilities & Club Pro – improve your game on a regular basis with use of the Club’s practice facilities and access to lessons from our resident PGA Professional, James Walkinshaw.​
Play in Team Matches against other clubs – you will have opportunity of representing Carnwath in matches against other clubs, in your local area of further afield, with teams in all categories. It's not only for those with the lowest handicaps, our Gents, Ladies and Senior teams all won their leagues in recent seasons!
Invite Your Friends – Carnwath are proud to offer more preferential ‘Member Friend’ green fees per Member than any of our competing courses in the area, giving you the chance to invite your friends and family to play your course at a fraction of the normal price.
Enjoy your Course! – We have one of the best kept Courses in the area and with a dedicated 'Greens Team' looking to improve year on year, you can expect to enjoy Carnwath even more in 2026 with many course improvements.
